Is interesting to see how far would Naruto go to protect his comrades, and in this case, Sasuke. Letting himself get beat up by Karui just to let them vent their anger is… not only courageous but silly as well. Again, why silly? because having the power of influencing people like he does, he could have at least tried to explain them what the consequences of their actions might bring to the ninja world.

Although, he said “But if you let hatred have control and kill Sasuke, my friends might not let that go!“, I think he could’ve said more than that… I mean, he could’ve tried to have a conversation like he did with Nagato.

Naruto, being as strong as he is, I believe he could easily beat up Omoi and Karui… but his sense of protection towards Sasuke makes him do things that I honestly find a bit silly… but that’s just me.

On another note, I find it interesting that Danzou has an eye on Anko. What secrets does she hold to be a threat to him? How big of a threat is she to him that he wants to eliminate her? Could she expose him and let everybody know about the connections he had with Orochimaru?

Also, since chapter 452, I’ve been thinking about Sai’s concern towards Naruto and his reaction after meeting with Danzou. I believe that since he’s been trying to learn how to interact and socialize with people and build friendships up, he’s started to think more for himself rather than just follow orders without questioning them, do you know what I mean?
I guess what I’m trying to say is that if Sai wasn’t part of Naruto’s team, he wouldn’t have asked Danzou what was he planning to do with Naruto…

Now, there could be two reasons why Sai was watching how Karui was beating the living day lights out of Naruto: To keep an eye on him as ordered, or out of concern for him. If the former, then I think there’s nothing to comment on that since he simple was following orders; if the latter, this could develop an interesting chain of events… I mean, to some point he might realize that Danzou’s ways are not the ones to follow and he might end up disobeying him – like not reporting something he ‘should’… or protecting Naruto from Root, which might lead to his death. I don’t know, but I have the feeling that Sai will die eventually either protecting or helping Naruto… but who knows….
